Walking to Jerusalem
Week 3: Forgiveness
Knowing we are forgiven by God is
only part of the equation. Forgiveness is also something we are told to
give and this can sometimes be difficult. When others slight us,
mistreat us, or hurt us, it is tough to say – and honestly mean – that
we forgive. Failure to forgive can be an impediment that separates us
from God as well as from others. Is there a person in your life you have
found it hard to forgive? Use this week’s time to roll away this
impediment.
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another; as the Lord has forgiven you.”
Colossians
3:12-3
