Walking to Jerusalem
Week 4: Christian Living
There are no checklists for
Christian living. More than two thousand years ago, the Pharisees tried
this approach to religion. Living in Christ is a dynamic process that
involves acceptance, obedience, and action. We accept God’s reality, we
try to be what He wants us to be, and we try to do what He wants us to
do. This is an ambitious undertaking! Jesus said “I have come that they
may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10). But what must we do
to experience God’s abundance in our own lives? As you walk this week,
think about what this really requires on a personal level.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, on your intelligence rely not; in all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Proverbs
3:5-6
