Common Health Problems

The St. Linus Health Committee sponsored a class for CPR and first aid for the St. Linus Boy Scouts. During this class, Scouts and their parents were instructed on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid to help in situations they may encounter in everyday life.   You can view pictures of the class here.

Cathy June, the parish nurse, routinely gives these classes for the Scouts and their parents at a small cost. She provides all of the equipment, DVD’s, and personal protective equipment for students.

Together with the students of U of D Mercy, this class was filled with hands-on instruction on the step by step process of CPR. The Scouts were allowed to do CPR on dummies and first aid on the UDM students.
